XH-1690 foam stabilizer is a Si-C bone, non-hydrolytic type polysiloxane polyether copolymer. This is a versatile foam stabilizer used for the production of polyurethane rigid foam plastic used in appliances and construction industry. It is suitable as general-purpose surfactant for other rigid foam applications and with different blowing agents including iso- cyclo pentane, HCFC-141B and high-water content foaming system.

Applications
• Suitable for use in systems for refrigeration, lamination and pour-in-place foam applications, using hydrocarbons as blowing agents and co-blown with water
• Provides good solubility of cyclo-pentane and cyclo/iso-pentane mixtures in the typical polyol formulations used in the applications industry.
• Delivers extremely fine celled foams, thus obtaining foams with very good thermal insulation performances.
• Stabilization of foam growth in pour-in-place applications, in systems using CH, water and HCFC-141b as blowing agents as well as HFCs.
Levels of Use (additive as supplied)
The common level range for XH-1690 is 1.5 to 2.5 parts per hundred of polyol (php).
