Spray foam can be used to protect pipes from freezing during cold weather.

XH-1698 foam stabilizer is a non-hydrolyzable silicone stabilizer that has been developed especially for hydrocarbon blown rigid polyurethane foam systems.

Applications

• XH-1698 is a highly efficient surfactant suitable for refrigerator and cool-store applications.

• XH-1698 provides extremely fine cells and therefore low thermal conductivity.

• XH-1698 delivers good foam flowability, even density distribution and reduced surface void.

• The combined effect on fine cell & flow, delivers foam with constantly thermal conductivity in all areas of the foamed cabinet, improving the overall energy saving.

Use levels for this type of foam can vary from 2 to 3 parts per 100 parts polyol

Available in 200kg drums.
